Management is primarily accountable to the Board of Directors for the operations of the Company. It puts the Company's targets in concrete terms and formulates the basic strategies for achieving these targets.
Risk Management
The company's risk management system evolved from its preventive action procedure under the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Management Systems).
As a general procedure, it was designed primarily to enhance the risk management process and institutionalize a focused and disciplined approach to managing the Company's business risks. By understanding and managing risk, the Company provides greater certainty and confidence to the stockholders, employees, and the public in general.
The risk management framework encompasses the identification and assessment of business risks, development and implementation of risk management strategies, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and management performance, and identification of areas and opportunities for improvement in the risk management process. |
